These terms are maintained by Cohortify and govern your access to and use of the platform. By using Cohortify, you agree to them.

1. Accounts

You're responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to use the service in your region.

2. Acceptable use

  • Don't misuse, disrupt or attempt to break the platform.
  • Don't harass other members or post unlawful, harmful or infringing content.
  • Don't share account access, cheat gamification systems, or misrepresent your achievements.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the projects, submissions and messages you create. By posting to cohorts or the community, you grant Cohortify a limited license to host and display that content so the service can function.

4. Courses, XP and credentials

XP, levels, streaks, badges and credentials reflect your activity on the platform. They are provided for learning and recognition and may be adjusted to correct errors or abuse. We may update course content and curriculum over time.

5. Payments

Where paid plans or cohorts are offered, applicable fees, billing cycles and refund terms will be presented at checkout. You're responsible for charges incurred under your account.

6. Intellectual property

The Cohortify platform, brand and original course materials are owned by Cohortify or its licensors. You may not copy, resell or redistribute them without permission.

7. Termination

You may stop using Cohortify at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated or to protect the platform and its members.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Cohortify is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the platform.

9. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
